Tox can be injected into the muscles of the face to treat wrinkles and facial asymmetry. Tox takes at least three days to start to weaken the facial muscles and up to two weeks to see the final results. The treatment lasts about three months on average. Each treatment is customized to the clients own facial anatomy. Most know that Tox can be used to reduce or eliminate forehead frown and expression lines as well as crow’s feet. Additional areas that Tox can be used is to treat TMJ and soften a square jaw line, lift the eyebrows, smooth horizontal lines across the nose, narrow nostrils, lift the tip of the nose, correct a gummy smile, or relax the muscles of the lips to give the impression of a fuller lip. Tox treatments can also relax the muscles of the chin to smooth dimpling/orange peel appearance, at the base of the nasolablial fold near the jaw line to weaken the muscle action and improve the appearance of jowls, and to improve the appearance of prominent neck bands. There are many possibilities! Injection of Tox involves minimal pain and no downtime. Occaisonally slight brusing may occur. The Fairy ToxMother has developed techniques so that most clients do not bruise. For the first four hours after treatment you should not lay down to avoid the Tox migrating from the treatment areas. Vigorous exercise, facial massaging, and makeup should be avoided until the day following treatment.
